The All-American Bonspiel at Granite Curling Club, Seattle, is November 2-3. This is a fun spiel and all women members of Granite are eligible because the club pays your dues to the USWCA. FYI, Canadian members of Granite are also eligible to participate.
Participants sign up as individuals, so you don’t need to form a team to play. Indicate one or more positions you are willing and qualified to play. Teams will be formed randomly, with your requested positions in mind. No teammate requests, please. This spiel is a fun mixer – a chance to meet and play with curlers you may not have known before.
This bonspiel is sponsored in part by the USWCA (United States Women’s Curling Association), which supplies the pins awarded to the first place team. The event is held throughout the country in USWCA member clubs. Granite CC opens its All-American Spiel to members of west coast clubs who are USWCA members but whose clubs do not hold their own All-American.
The $50 entry fee includes three games (2 Saturday and one Sunday morning), and Saturday lunch and dinner. All teams must play all three games, as winners are determined by a point system. The format may change if oversubscribed for this format.
