With a come from behind win in a playoff, Ken Trask, Duane Rutan, Peter Sommer, and Steve Lundeen won the Men's State Club Championship this evening. They and the women's team, Miyo Konno, Sara Skulec, Nicole Samson, Aryn Grause, Gina Triolo, and Leslie Frosch (Coach), move on to the National Club Championships in Bismarck March 5-12.

4:30 pm : Shoesmith and Trask in playoff for State Club Championships
Trask defeated Shoesmith in the last game of the round-robin leaving both teams with an identical 3-1 record. A playoff at 6:30 this evening determines the Champion.

11:00 am : Shoesmith in Driver's Seat at State Club Championships
It was a tough game for the Guy rink as his last draw picked and he gave up a steal of four. Shoesmith now has a 3-0 record with only one game remaining against Trask, who is 2-1. If Shoesmith wins the last game, they win the championship. If Trask wins, it's back for a deciding playoff game this evening.

9:00 am : State Club Championships Start Second Day
The second and last day of competition has started with the Guy-Shoesmith matchup. At 1-1, this is a must win game for Guy to stay in the running. At 2-0, Shoesmith is the only undefeated team. Trask at 2-1 has the bye this morning. The teams involved in the second scheduled game elected not to play as the results don't have any effect on the final results. Konno was the only women's team that entered - and so wins by default.
