Three GCC Members head to World Senior Championships

From April 20-27, three Granite Curling Club members will compete in the World Curling Senior National Championships in Östersund, Sweden.

Darren Lehto was asked to join Team Farbelow, the winners of the 2024 USA Curling Senior Men's Championship. He has competed against and with everyone on the team before, and he looks forward to representing the USA again on the Senior Worlds stage. Chad Johnson was asked to represent the Nigeria Curling Federation at the Senior Worlds Championships. He looks forward to taking this opportunity to represent his ancestral land as well as promote curling to a group of people who are underrepresented. Peter Garbes is curling with Team Philippines (Curling Winter Sports Association of the Philippines). This marks the historic debut of a Philippine team at a Senior Worlds curling event, and it's a step closer to full WCF membership for the association. Good curling to all three teams!
