Group Events

The 2017-2018 Season is open for booking Group Events. The curling club is available for events for many occasions: work team building events, office parties, birthdays, a group get together or any other reason to have fun. Please check the Calendar for available dates and times and contact Brian Morris at to schedule your event. He will be happy to answer any questions. Here is some information about having an event at the club.

Open Houses

If you have ever wanted to try curling, you have come to the right place. The Granite Curling Club schedules open houses to introduce the public to our great sport. Never tried curling before but want to do so? An open house is just what you're looking for!


The junior program at GCC is for anyone between the ages of 7 and 21. Our primary objective is to have fun and develop a life long passion for curling. As curling is a game of etiquette, we encourage and promote good sportsmanship both on and off the ice.

Granite Teams bring home medals from Pacific International Cup

Congratulations to all the Granite Curling Club teams who participated in the Pacific International Cup curling championships in Richmond, BC this past weekend. In a great showing, all three Seattle teams earned medals in the international division. The WA1 women's team (Em Good, Jill Lamberts, Jennifer Westhagen, Hannah Volkman and Elle Lebeau) earned the number 1 seed with a 6-1 record in the round robin and won the gold medal in the International divison. They lost in the PIC Championship game to Island North, as the medalists from each bracket faced off for the Cup.

Clark and Company take another Mixed Title

Brady Clark, Cristin Clark, Sean Beighton, and Beverly Walter successfully defended their Mixed National title on March 23rd. In the final game, they defeated California's Lyle Sieg team. This is the fourth straight title for Brady, Cristin, and Bev. Overall, this is the ninth title for Brady and Cristin, the first for Sean, and eighth for Bev - all in the past eleven years. King TV had a feature on the team on April 10th.
