GCC members, Kaitie Kovach and Sam Sparks, will lead two 90-minute sweeping clinics this fall, one focused on sweeping basics and the other on directional sweeping. Sweeping Basics Clinic, Oct. 21
Focused on body/broom positioning and effectiveness; primarily on-ice instruction. Participants MUST wear grippers — slider sweeping will not be allowed.
Directional Sweeping Clinic, Nov. 4 and Dec. 2
Focused on how directional sweeping works and how to do it effectively. It will involve part on-ice and off-ice instruction.
