The 72nd USWCA National Bonspiel wound up yesterday here with Centerville, Wisconsin taking the overall title and the Granite team of Cindy Garzina, Karen Brattesani, Christie Guttler, and Cathie Tomlinson winning the third event.
Lisa Rauliuk and Lori Markham did their usual fantastic job of running a great bonspiel. Brent Campbell managed all the food. Joe Roberts presided as chief umpire. There are not enough words to thank the numerous volunteers who timed games, baked goodies, helped in the kitchen, washed the dishes, bartended, and created baskets. This event could not have run without them. And last but not least, the Ice Crew lead by Dave Leinweber did an amazing job with the ice and we are forever indebted.
