The Holiday Spiel featured amazing food and costumes for the whole weekend. First place in the ugly sweater contest went to Scrabble-mas with matching lettered costumes reminiscent of Dr. Seuss. Second place went to Rugen Claus. Third went to the Who's - also with a Dr. Seuss flavor. Barbequed ribs made a great dinner from Canyon's restaurant. Cindy Kozai, helpers Alice Simmers, Betty Kozai, Cindy McCain and her cousin Chris, Tom Grismer, Dave Pippin, and Jill Jackson kept us well fed through the entire weekend.
And there was some curling. Overall winners were Jake Vukich, Evan McAuley, Luc Violette, and Kyle Lorvick with coach and sub Tom Violette. Runners up were Rich Burmeister, Zach Radmer, Glenn Allan, and Chris Pleasants. B Winners were Randall Noble, Stephan Funk, Chad Findlay, and Michel Lemieux of the Vancouver CC. C Winners were Em Good, Jill Lamberts, Hannah Volkman, and Chad.
