Long Time Member Wendall Harness died recently after a battle with heart disease.
He and his wife Lois became members of Granite upon moving to Seattle in 1991 and remained members until 2017. They started curling at the Nutmeg club in Connecticut - where Wendall served as president.
They viewed the club as their place of pleasure and were very proud of the club. Wendall particularly loved events that involved curlers of all ages. They help take care of the house and worked with both school programs and outreach events.
Besides Lois, Wendall is survived by four children, eight grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. There will be a celebration of life later when conditions allow.
