Granite hosts the Mixed Doubles National Championship February 27th to March 3rd. New this year is, similar to the Men's and Women's championships, the twelve team field is decided by World Curling Tour points, winning certain bonspiels, and a challenge round.
We need all sorts of volunteers for this event - officials, webcasters, food preparation, sponsor development, crowd management, and some things I'm sure I have yet to think of. We are offering officiating clinics tentatively scheduled for the weekend of January 26th to qualify Level I and II officials. Please volunteer to mdnats@curlingseattle.org.
The club will have no other activities including leagues for the championship week February 25th to March 3rd.
