I remember Bob whistling on the ice during Friday league. He was my skip as a novice curler and he kindly taught me so much about the game. I am so thankful for all he gave the club, the wonderful memories, and the time we shared in the warm room and on the ice. Good curling Bob you will be missed and remembered.

Bob was my skip on Monday nights several years ago. I will always remember him whistling the first line of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”, causing me to get the song stuck in my head, and him bringing stuffed mushrooms when it was our turn to bring dinner - you never had to ask him what he was going to bring, you just knew!

Bob is my image of a club curler.
Always positive, Always contributing.
He was a great skip and a great opponent. You couldn't give up with Bob. There was always a chance. I remember a game where we were down 5 after two ends. 'No problem, we’ll come back.' And we did.
MNL Dinners when Bob was on the schedule meant stuffed mushrooms. And they were the best.
His legacy will surround us, with the tables and the scoreboards and those happily whistled notes as he strolled down the ice to draw to the button.
Thank you, Bob.

Such a great guy. His stuffed mushrooms are legendary! Always smiling. Quick with a hug. He hosted many a Halloween party and my parents would go. They always had the best time. I will miss you Bob.

Oh, I'm so sad to hear this news. Bob was a gem and much of the reason Jim and I fell in love with curling and GCC. He was our first skip on Friday nights and we learned so much from him. He embodied the spirit of curling and contributed so much to our community. His memory will live on in so many of us. Whenever I asked how he was, he'd reply with a birght and positive quip. My favorite was, "Better than perfect!" Rest in that perfectness dear Bob. We'll miss you dearly.
