Curling Development Tools
Did you know the club has training tools available for members? The SmartBroom measures sweeping pressure and stroke frequency. We also have ChronoCurls, which use lasers to measure rock speed and help players fine-tune weight delivery consistency. Both items are stored in a storage locker downstairs, so reach out to development@curlingseattle.org to get the code.
If you are looking to time a scrimmage game, GCC has timing equipment available for use. Learn more here.
Dedicate Ice Time Blocks
Competitive Practice Ice: Intended for established teams to practice together, team scrimmages, and team/individual coaching. Curlers using the ice for one of these purposes can reserve a sheet for a maximum of 3 hours. Check out upcoming dates and sign-ups here.
PNWCA Playdown Dates & Deadlines
All registration for Pacific Northwest Curling Association regional playdowns is coordinated via USA Curling Sport80. A competitor membership is required to participate in all of these events.
