Four GCC Members at the World Senior Nationals
From April 26-May 2, four Granite Curling Club members are participating in the World Senior Curling National Championships in Fredericton, Canada.
Darren Lehto is a member of Team Farbelow, the winners of the 2025 USA Curling Senior Men's Championship. He also competed with the team at the 2024 World Senior Nationals where he helped secure silver. For the second year in a row, Chad Johnson represents the Nigeria Curling Federation. Peter Garbes is also curling with Team Philippines for the second year, and Heather Garber is also in attendance as their coach. Good curling to all three teams!
Bonspiel Results: Apocalyptic April Spiel
From April 3-6, we welcomed 52 teams to our apocalyptic April Spiel. Thanks to our organizing committee and suite of volunteers for putting on an event worthy of the end of times. Congrats to our event winners and finalists!

From March 8-9, we hosted our survivor-themed GCC 5U Spiel: Outsmart, Outlaugh, Outfun. This internal spiel is a fantastic event for our new curlers to develop their skills, play different positions, and curl with new friends. Thanks to our organizer, Chad Johnson, and all our amazing mentors!
