We had an incredibly fun and festive weekend with junior curlers from both GCC and Evergreen Curling Club participating in the 2-day 2022 Junior Spiel. The novice division was a combination of fun, wacky games and regular 6 end games, some of which were played with Literocks and some with regular stones, which the intermediate division played traditional 8 end games.
The Intermediate 1st Event Winners were Daisy Head Mazie (Eleanor Damiano, Allison Tan, Arianna Rauliuk, Davina Barber), the Intermediate Doubles Winners were I Can Lick 30 Tigers Today (Davina Barber, Andrew Bell), and the Novice 1st Event Winners were Yertle the Turtle (Fiona McLaughlin, Natalie Smith, Daphne Hill, Stephanie Trier).
Thanks to all of the Lisa Rauliuk, Jessica Schultz, and all of the other volunteers that helped realize a fun weekend of curling with the juniors!
