These are the regional mixed championships for both Washington State and the Mountain Pacific (MoPac) Region.
Winners go on to the national championship.
Format
Both formats are a modified double elimination. The A finalists drop into the B semifinals. Thus it is possible for the same team to win both events then there is no final game. If different teams win the two events each has a single loss and the final game determines the winner.

Rules Summary
10
end games.
First
practice starts 30 minutes before game time second at 20 minutes.
LSD determines who gets hammer in the first
end. I dont think DSC comes into play
for this competition.
Consolation Games
Beginning
Saturday evening, there will be consolation games for teams that have been
eliminated. One of the reasons teams
prefer round robin play is that all teams get more games. This is a way to help address that
issue. You do not have to play in
consolation games, but if the reason you signed up for these championships is
to get games experience, these may be for you.
