Second year curlers' party

The second year curlers' party will be held on Sunday September 16 from 6 pm to 9 pm. All curlers who were first year novices last year are welcome to attend. Come on out and practice, play a pick up game, eat some pizza, and visit the bar. You'll be some of the first to experience this year's ice! Granite Teams bring home medals from Pacific International Cup

Congratulations to all the Granite Curling Club teams who participated in the Pacific International Cup curling championships in Richmond, BC this past weekend. In a great showing, all three Seattle teams earned medals in the international division. The WA1 women's team (Em Good, Jill Lamberts, Jennifer Westhagen, Hannah Volkman and Elle Lebeau) earned the number 1 seed with a 6-1 record in the round robin and won the gold medal in the International divison. They lost in the PIC Championship game to Island North, as the medalists from each bracket faced off for the Cup.

Clark and Company take another Mixed Title

Brady Clark, Cristin Clark, Sean Beighton, and Beverly Walter successfully defended their Mixed National title on March 23rd. In the final game, they defeated California's Lyle Sieg team. This is the fourth straight title for Brady, Cristin, and Bev. Overall, this is the ninth title for Brady and Cristin, the first for Sean, and eighth for Bev - all in the past eleven years. King TV had a feature on the team on April 10th.
