HOT SHOTS Curling Camp is hosting a session at Granite Curling Club from November 8-10, 2024. While they have staged camps all over America, this is their inaugural event in the PNW. Instructors have been announced and the team includes Debbie McCormick (USA and World Champion), Madison Bear (USA Junior Champions and Silver Junior Worlds medalist), Danielle Inglis (Canadian and World Mixed Champion), and many more.
Are you looking for a bonspiel as a warm-up for the season? Are you new to curling and wanting to get a tournament under your belt? Are you an experienced curler who wants to share your love of the sport? KTDO is an Annual Bonspiel at GCC all about meeting new people and shaking the dust of your curling shoes.
This event is scheduled for October 19-20, 2024. Curlers will be assigned to a team and play six, 4-end games. Registration is closed, but the bonspiels organizers are allowing in batches of 8. Join the waitlist; don't miss your chance to participate!

We have several leagues with openings, including Sunday Novice (12-2 pm), Fall Sunday Afternoon (2-4 pm), Thursday Morning (10 am - 12 pm), Tuesday Supper (5-7 pm), and Friday Night (6:30 pm, 8:30 pm, 10:30 pm draws). Both our junior leagues, Wednesday Advanced (4:30-6:30 pm) and Friday Beginner/Intermediate (4:30-6:30 pm), also have spots available. Wednesday Women's League also has a waitlist and can tentatively let in curlers in groups of four.

Leagues start in September 2024 and run into April 2025. Priority registration for our 2023-2024 members opens on August 23 (7 pm), and general registration for all opens on September 9 (10 am). Leagues do fill and managers can waitlist early to ensure full teams, so register as soon as you can! In addition, registration for Tuesday Super and Thursday Doubles will close early (August 29) to facilitate a lottery if necessary.

Mark your calendars for 2024 USA Curling's Annual Member Assembly scheduled from August 9-11, 2024. The assembly will be hosted at Chaska Curling Center in MN; however, activities will be streamed and available through USA Curling's YouTube channel.
On Friday, August 9 at 5 pm (PT), there will be an Annual Members’ Meeting. The GCC President will attend this meeting virtually to cast our delegate votes. More information about the event can be found here.
The Granite Curling Club website will be down for maintenance on Wednesday, June 26 at 8:00 am. Operations should resume by 8:05 am.
From June 21-23, we closed out our season with the 2024 Summer Bonspiel. Congratulations to all our winners, and thanks to everyone who joined in on the fun!

Bob Prince, a lifetime member of Granite Curling Club, passed away peacefully on June 1st surrounded by his loved ones. Bob joined GCC in 1960 and left his mark on the membership. From helping build the club (scoreboards, cabinets, and all) to teaching the next generation of curlers, Bob left an unforgettable mark on GCC and it's membership.
