Last season we moved substitute lists from the registration process to user pages. After registering, you can go to your user page ("My account" in the upper right), pick the “Sub Lists” tab, and add (or remove) yourself from sub lists for all leagues that support sub lists.
On the listing for each league that you are registered for, you can see both the current member and sub lists with phones and emails. Keep in mind that some members have chosen to not share emails or phones - so you may have to work a bit harder to get in contact.
Members from the last curling season (2021-2022) can now renew their membership and sign up for upcoming leagues. Just log into the web site and the option to register appears.
I encourage you to not wait on registering. The Priority Registration deadline is August 24th at 6 pm and will arrive before you know it! After this deadline, GCC league managers will address any oversubscriptions. Then on August 26th at 10 am, General Registration opens to everyone.
We had an incredibly fun and festive weekend with junior curlers from both GCC and Evergreen Curling Club participating in the 2-day 2022 Junior Spiel. The novice division was a combination of fun, wacky games and regular 6 end games, some of which were played with Literocks and some with regular stones, which the intermediate division played traditional 8 end games.

We hope you're enjoying curling during the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, but did you recognize some familiar faces out there? Both Sean Beighton, US Men's and Mixed Doubles coach, and Colin Huffman, US Men's Alternate, are current Seattle residents and GCC members representing our country with the rest of the fine athletes competing this year. Our club has hosted a lot of press recently to talk about their journey and feature some of our own members including:
